Saturday- The teams leave Horsfall Beach at 8 a.m. and arrive in Lakeside at lunchtime. After lunch, teams leave for Winchester Bay and will be on display in Salmon Harbor (near Pizza Rays) around dusk. The public is welcome to come and view the dogs and ask questions. Please ask before touching any of the dogs because they will be tired after a long day.

Sunday - The teams leave just North of Gardiner and break for lunch at Siltcoos campground. Teams can be seen from the dunes overlook around mid-morning. The ceremonial finish in Old Town Florence is about 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Once again the public is invited to come and see the dogs and of course buy commemorative envelopes carried by the teams and postmarked in North Bend, Lakeside and Florence.

Each team sells commemorative envelopes signed by just themselves or all the mushers. I have sold all of the single signature envelopes for my team, but there are envelopes available signed by all the mushers that participate. These are $10 and the money goes to the Oregon Dune Mushers fund that helps send a Dune Musher to the Iditarod! If you are interested in one of these envelopes, contact me and I can sign you up!
